Andi's Blog Has Moved! Click the graphic to go see it.

Blogger dumped email notifications and the new format and Mrs. M were no longer getting along well. She didn't even want to blog any longer. Now, she and Andi have a new, fresh face over on WordPress. There is only one post up so far (two after today), but a lot of the pages are finished and you can take the time now and FOLLOW ANDI so you don't miss even one post. Some of the posts from here will be moved over, and they might seem brand-new because they are so old. Anyway, get excited about the new format. Suggestions welcomed wholeheartedly! I have a comment box on nearly every page.

  2. How will we know when the new blog is ready?

    1. I'll post it here, email those who have signed up to hear about notifications, and also send out an Email Ezine. It's sad. Say goodbye to my over 1 million page views. Oh, well. I LOVE the new WordPress format. You can FOLLOW and you can sign up for EMAIL notifications and/or both.

  3. Good to know! I'm honestly thinking about moving too. It really stinks to lose email notification. Is WordPress hard to figure out?

    1. If all you had ever done is Blogger, then yes, it's pretty tricky. But my main Circe C website is a Word Press site, so I had some head's up knowledge. And . . . I just practiced on creating a Word press.com site for my author friend. and I decided, HEy! This is fun and "easy" now.
It's free and easy to get one. Just go to WordPress.com and sign up. There are lots of tutorials, etc. You are young. You can do it!

    2. Jovey, I switched from Blogger to Wordpress a few months ago, and after my initial intimidation (and with a few hints from a sibling), I found that WordPress is actually pretty simple to use! I am not a "techy" person at all, so I was pleased to find myself using it deftly after a few days of figuring it out. Hope this helps!

    3. I switched to Wordpress last year, I don’t regret it! After messing around I figured it out easily. If you need help let me know Jovey!

  4. I'll be sad not to see this site anymore, but it'll be much easier to follow via Wordpress (I use Wordpress and personally like it much better than Blogger). I think I may have found the new Circle C blog.

  5. Will fan fiction be moving too? Also, do you have an age limit for who can write fan fiction, (I know the contests do...) I read one of your books for the first time after Christmas and was hooked!!! Since I have bought all the Milestones and explored your blogs, reading all the stories I could get my hands on. (It'll be great to have a new one.)
I 'm twenty, but wish I had known about your contests when I was in school!! I still like to write, though, and have self published two books. Writing and imagining stories about your characters is a fun break, but I won't send stories if you only want younger authors...
I do love your books! Thanks either way.

    1. Absolutely! Even the FAn fiction links will find a new home. The only thing that will stay are the actual stories, since there are so many of them. But the main FF page will move and it's much "neater" and of COURSE you can write a story. No age limit. My author friend wrote one last Christmas (and I think she is around 60!) Would LOVE to see it. I hope to launch the blog next week sometime.

    2. Thanks so much! Can't wait to check it out.
The story will be headed your way as soon as I get around to the editing... which may mean it'll be a little longer than I'd like...;-) I'm quite excited that you have no age limit, I love your characters and they spark my imagination!

  6. So this blog will literally go away, but everything here will be on the new blog (including old posts...or not?), right?

    1. No, this blog will never go away. However, I will post a link to the new blog to whomever chances upon this blog. This is a precious blog, with over a million page views and I've had it since about 2007 or 2008. How can I let it go? *sniff sniff*
I will be posting old blog posts that are relevant on the new blog, but I will not copy every one (like over 600!) because some are so out of date that there is no use. The hardest one will be the Andi's Journal but I'll work my way through it.

  7. *starts to cry* i looved this blog so much! thank you so much for starting it in the first place Mrs. M! i'm gonna tell you a little story... once upon a time my aunt from several states away sent (as a Christmas gift) the Andi Carter Adventures series. this 8or so year old girl named Kearra never read them until she was about 11 and then started reading them. she LOVED them! and then her older sis told her that she had found the blog of the author and the girl freeked out when she heard the news that the author also had a writing contest. before that Kearra had never even thought about being an author. she started writing and loved it! she entered a contest, didn't place, but kept looking at the blog periodically. then she heard about KDWC, she convinced her parents to let her join and a month later was enrolled in the best experience of her life! she met what is now her 6 best friends and made he3r own little chat club thing with them. to this day she is so thankful for the wild trip that brought her to where she is now. also, because Kearra started writing, 3 of her 6 sisters started writing as well. leading to a legacy of authorism. thank you so much for this amazing oppurtunity your blog brought me!

    1. Holy cow! That's an awesome story. But it's not like it's going away. This blog will always stay right where it is. It's just that I needed to move on and have a better platform, and if Blogger had kept up with the times, I would not be moving. I will be moving most of the fun stuff over to the new platform. Come visit there! It will take weeks to move everything, but even the Behind the Scenes will be incorporated into the new format.

I'm very sad to have to move to a "new house" too, but eventually I'll be glad I did all the work.

    1. Hopefully, I'll get a lot of old posts moved and a lot of new ones put up there. But it's overwhelming since I have so many! But some I can leave behind as not being relevant any longer. You can follow me over on the new blog, you know!
