What Happens Next?

Mrs. M apologizes for leaving you off on Chapter 14 of The Terrible Secret, but you can't say she didn't warn you. If you would like her to finish this serial story and post maybe . . . four or five more chapters, well then, Mrs. M need your ideas and brainstorming. The more ideas you put in the comments, the faster she can finish the book. She can't promise finishing it until after July 1, but at least it will be on her mind. However, she can't do anything without your ideas. Why not? Because if she didn't need help, the book would have been finished years ago. :-)

Also, it's time to submit ideas for other unique posts you would like to see here on Andi's blog (now that the serial story has finished up for a while). I do like to post at least three times a week, but that is in a perfect world. If any of you have posting ideas and would like to do the posting yourself (i.e. "Guest Blogger") that would be great. This is not Fan Stories (but you can send those too, and I'll post them the Fan Fiction site).

If you are interested in being a guest blogger here on Andi's blog, email Mrs. M at CircleCAdventures@gmail.com and let her know what you have in mind.

Now, back to writing Andi Far from Home

  1. Hmm, I don't have a lot of idea's for "The Terrible Secret's" ending, but I'll be sure to let you know if/when I do.
Also, could I have some more details on what a "Guest Blogger" does?

    1. Yes, what is a "Guest Blogger"? I would love to participate, I am just not sure what you mean. <3

    2. If you have something besides a fan story and want to share things that are relevant to the Andi's blog "theme," then I'd love to give you that chance. That is a guest blogger.

For instance, like the lassoing post. I got those pictures of Lexah off her blog, but it would have been way more fun if SHE had written a post about lassoing and had sent the pictures for me to post.

Any kind of fun, horse-related and/or ranching and/or history-related posts (with pictures, LOL) would qualify for a guest blogging post. Hope that makes sense. I'll write a new post to specify this so everybody knows.

    3. Thanks for the detailed answer!
I'd love to do something like that, but I don't have a blog, would I need one to do this? Or would I just email you a post I had written? Also, I don't have a horse, I ride, but it might be tricky to get some pictures. Does a post need those embellishments? Thank you!

    4. You don't need a blog. You would be a guest blogger on MY blog. :-)
You don't need a horse, but you need a post (800-1,000 words) about something of interest to our readers. Pictures are nice but not required. Hope that helps!

    5. That definitely helps!
      Thank you! :-)

  2. Okay...Perhaps you could end with Andi waking up in the middle of the night a week or so later from the accident. Dr. Weaver had let her walk around some for a couple of days, though she was still pretty shaken up with it all. Now she woke because of a loud clattering noise she'd heard along with a gruff, whispered command that belonged to none other than Mr. Henderson. She became so frightened she froze all over (no doubt Mr. Henderson and his helpers had heard that the dynamite had not killed her and Justin, so they were here to finish the job). Then, she heard a soft voice whisper, "Trust Me," and she prayed. Sure enough, the murderers stepped in, holding guns and knives. But Andi was no longer frightened. She felt a strange peace come over her, and she knew God was helping her. Even when Mr. Henderson grabs her, points a knife at her throat, and tells her not to scream, she's at peace. Then she remembered something. Mother was on the floor nearby, as Andi had begged her not to leave. Andi kicked Mr. Henderson in the middle with all her might, and he released her long enough for her to shake Mother awake, who calls for the boys. While they wait for Andi's brothers to come, they watch the criminals. To their delight, the murderers try to shoot them but can't--their guns couldn't cock--and the knives were forgotten in their attempts to prepare their guns. The boys rush in, grab Mr. Henderson and steal his weapons, and then take them to town--and to jail. Zeke is released a little while later, after the trial (where Andi testifies) and asks Andi why she did it. Why she had risked her own life for his. She answers that it was God's work, and soon afterward Zeke becomes a Christian and shares God with everyone he sees. When Henderson and his helpers' trial comes, Andi tells about everything that had happened (from the murder to the night they broke in) and they are subjected to life in prison. And guess what? Zeke Blazer visits the criminals everyday in their cells, sharing Jesus's love with them and telling them how it had changed his life, and he, Justin, and Andi forgave them. Because of it all, the murderers actually accepted Christ into their lives, and were released from prison early on account of their new moods to a new life full of forgiveness and love. THE END. :)

I can't wait until July for the "Terrible Secret" conclusion! Thanks a bunch, Mrs. M!

  3. Mrs. M, could you please do another lost story while we wait for "The Terrible Secret" conclusion?

    1. I'm not quite sure you get the concept of a Lost Story. The reason I could post those chapters is because they were already written. I have no more "Lost Stories" in my Archives that are ready for posting. And if I simply make one up, that is not a Lost Story, is it? LOL

      So, alas. Sorry!

    2. I understand well what a lost story is; I have quite a few of them myself ;). I was just wondering if you had more. If not, do you think you could just come up with another story? A chapter a week is so suspenseful!

  4. HI
I was just wondering if you had any lost scenes from any of the circle c adventure books like you had for the long way home maybe you can post them while you finish the ending of this story.
    About the terrible secret.
Justin is in a bad state and is near to death.
Mr. Henderson see's that his men have failed and they are fired the he hires some other men that have better tactics. they can't get into the house to get Justin and Andi but Chad and Mitch are still outdoors running the ranch so they start by stealing some horses Taffy, Sky, Chase, Panda and all the other Carter family horses then the family hears news that Levi, Betsy and Hannah have been kidnapped then Mitch is taken whit Justin ill and Mitch gone it is up to Chad. Andi has been in her room for the past two weeks more and more disturbed at her nephew and nieces disappearance and then Mitch! she is more scared now then ever but she decides it is about time she did something. she knows that the kidnappers left notes but she hasn't seen them she gets hold of the note and see's that if she is taken to them until after the trail everyone can go. Andi decides to do it and then after Mitch and the others have gone free Chad and Mitch manage to follow them they manage to rescue Andi and arrest the kidnappers then Justin gets better but because of the accident his leg had to be amputated. Andi struggles to deal with it and is mad at God but eventually comes to peace with God then it ends with Justin's birthday party where Kate and the Kids come with aunt Rebecca who is so relived at Andi and everyone being save hardly notices Andi wearing overalls and racing Levi with the recovered horses.
    What do you think?

    1. I'm thinking . . . WOW! That's like a whole new book. :-)
As far as other lost stories, well, I have one but it's not finished either and I don't think you all would like another unfinished serial story that I abruptly cut you off on. :-)

The lost story from Dangerous Decision is truly lost. It would have been a good one, as DD has a totally different beginning now than it had back in the 90s when I wrote it. I asked my friend if she still had the manuscript (I had printed it out), but she did not. So it is truly LOST.

    2. I wouldn't mind another serial story that isn't finished because then I can work on thinking of an ending and kinda choose what happens in the end if that makes any sense.
Could you maybe post more historical stuff?? And also could you post about more of the everyday stuff you have to do on a ranch in the 1800s and things like that??

    3. Okay that's to bad how about the family secret, San Francisco smugglers, price of truth and trouble with treasure? I agree I don't know if I could bare being left in suspense another time!

      Delete
    4. Those books were written and presented "as is" to the publisher (except for Trouble with Treasure, which had a ton of changes before the publisher got it). The only difference between the old TWT and the published TWT is that Andi is alone with Mitch on this outing and she has to do everything herself. I don't know if it would make good lost stories or not.

I added Cory and Jenny so Andi would have some dialogue when Mitch is out cold from the gunshot wound. A book can't have just one person and hope to be interesting without interaction. But yeah, maybe I could do TWT the "lost" story. It has a very, very different beginning. And ending. :-)

    5. Would you? That would be great! Would you do a chapter a week again, or would it be like "The Long Ride Home" lost scenes, where you post them as one?

      Delete
    6. thank you! that would be great

    7. Oh, wow! That would be great to see the other version of TWT!
Are you still planning on doing this, Mrs. M?

  5. Do you think the ending could have something to do with Justin's earlier chat with Andi? The one where she asked him if she was pretty? Perhaps that chat could affect Andi after the accident and make her more hopeful or something.

  6. If we posted our thoughts on the last chapter of "The Terrible Secret," do we need to repost here?
