I need a name

I need your help. Years ago I created a family tree and had Andi's father, James Carter, the twin brother to David. Uncle David and Aunt Ellen have one son, Daniel, a couple years older than Andi.

Well, Daniel is going to play a significant role in Book 3 of the Circle C Milestones (which I'm getting ready to work on, now that Danger Trail, book 2, is finished). BUT . . . the 2 "D's" might be a problem (David and Daniel). I'm really used to Daniel's name, so I will keep that name, but what I would like is for you all to think up alternate names for David, James' twin brother.

I have enough "J" names, so don't think of anything with a J (like John. Besides, we already have a Johnny Wilson in the series) . . . or any other letter I've already used for the Carters. Also . . . it needs to be an 1800s-friendly name and not too modern.

Looking forward to your ideas!

  1. Hmmm...perhaps Walter, or Patrick, or Phillip? It's tough to find something that isn't too similar to a name already used. I'm so glad that the CC Milestones books are well under way! It seems ages ago that us here at Andi's Blog first begged to read more about Andi :)

    1. I'll be able to show the cover for the Tales book in a month or two. Don't worry! You all will see it first. Be prepared. It's nothing like I ever expected . . . It's very, very different and nothing like any of the other CCA books or even like the CCB books. It's a "new" look the marketing manager at Kregel wanted to do and I do like it, but it's taken me awhile to get used to this new "look."

Bet I got you going crazy now, huh? :-)

    1. I don't want to have "D" names repeating. That's why I am asking for new names. LOL
I had "David" and I want something different.

Mostly because one time my editor said she didn't want both Chad and Caleb, so I changed Caleb's name to Levi for Family Secret. So I'm on the lookout for repeats. :-)
