A Prayer Request from Bethany S.

From time to time, readers ask me to post prayer requests for others. Today, a very urgent request came in from Bethany S. Please pray for this family her sister knows. It is tragic, but God is powerful. As we pray, remember that whatever He decides, God is Good! His love endures forever.

PLEASE PLEASE PRAY!!!!!!!!
A dear family and friend of mine, the Paroline's, their son was hit this afternoon by a car head on....it threw him 75 feet and landed him on pavement. He was emergency airlifted to a hospital. He is in a coma with serious swelling of the brain and bad brain injuries.  The doctors are not hopeful. His family are in a state of shock and extreme pain right now.  Please please pray for them and start prayer chains. His name is Zachary, he is 14 years old.  Doctors don't think he's going to make it.  Please pray!  God can work a miracle!
Blessings,
Bethany S.

  2. Bethany,
I will pray for him. I know what they are going through. The doctors told my family that IF my sister lived there would be major brain damage. God work a miracle. My sister is alive and except small short term memory loss she is fine.
God's plan is perfect. Good will come out of this terrible and scary event.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

    1. I actually don't know the family personally, the daughter of a friend of my sister posted the the prayer request on my sister's blog asking people to start prayer chains. So I thought I would ask Mrs. M if she could post it on her blog. I do know that the boy was walking when he was hit by a car, and not in a car.

    1. The girl that posted it said
"Keep praying guys. There's still no change. The doctors say there's no brain activity.
But I've been thinking, where does there hope lie? In medical books and knowledge? If so, hope can only go so far with man's abilities and knowledge. The doctors were not hopeful so there was no hope...but we have a God who promises to bring hope in hopeless times. He's stronger than this..and if it's His will for Zach to live, no matter what the doctors say, he will live."

that's all I know for now. she has been posting updates on Google+ if you follow Wikolia Loi you can see her updates on what's going on.

    1. Keep praying guys. I found out today that he has brain activity in his lower brain but that's all so he is still in critical condition and he is still in a coma. From the doctors point of view it is completely impossible for him to fully recover if he survives at all. But we know that all things are possible through Christ. Thanks for all the prayers I know this means a lot to the family who is going through all this right now.
      God Bless you guys,
      Bethany S.

  17. I got another update on Zach, things arn't going well, but God is still in control and can turn this whole thing around.
The girl I have been getting updates from wrote....

"Everyone PLEASE PRAY HARD, and get as many people to pray as you can...!! They are going to take Zach off of life support tomorrow..."

    Something needs to happen today.
Pray for God to show himself strong today, on Zach's behalf.

    1. Good, hopefully. What hospital is he in? Where? Is he/ his family Christian?
      Praying!

    2. I don't know where they live or what hospital he is in, I do believe his family is a Christian from what I have heard, and I know that the girl that originally shared the prayer request, that knows the family is from Barbados, so they may also be in Barbados.

  19. I found a song that really fits with this situation, it's called "I'll Pray Again" by Benjamin Everson. the words are perfect. you can look it up on youtube.

    2. "I'll Pray Again" is a wonderful song. The Eversons have been to my church twice, and I have that cd.
God's will be done in this situation, whether it is a miracle taking place, or a soul going to heaven. God's will is not always our ways, but His way is ultimately best.
      I'll be praying.

  21. God's ways are not always man's ways, and even though it is hard for us to understand what He is doing at times, he works all things out for good and for his glory. I just received news today that Zack Paroline went to be with the Lord at 12:50 am. Please keep his family in your prayers.

His mother wrote... ''Our beloved Zach is with the Lord and his body expired at 12:50am. We were so blessed to have had the privilege of raising him for this short 14 years.''

Thank you all for your prayers,
    Bethany

    2. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying, it is a real blessing to know that there are others my age around the US and I believe even in Canada that are willing to stop what their doing and pray for their brother in Christ.
      God Bless all of you,

    6. Amen! That is a good thing to remember for all those who have been praying this week. God did hear our prayers but he knows the end of the story and he did what was best. Although we may not see it now God is doing something beautiful. What man intended for evil (or in this case what man did on accident ) God works out for good.

Has anyone seen the movie Courageous? Something similar happened.

    1. I'm not a hundred percent sure that he has siblings but I think from what I have heard that he probably does My family owns the movie Courageous. It's an excellent movie and it just goes to show that when you lose someone you love God is still right there with you walking you through it.

    2. Yes, I love Courageous. My family owns it too. :)
I'm so sorry about Zach, I've been praying! I'll keep on praying though, but now I'll pray that his family will be comforted in these hard times!
