New Year's Reflections

I'm taking a spare minute off from digging through contest entries in my Inbox. I want to go slowly, so as not to mix anybody stories up with anybody, since I have so many! I'm chuckling, because I remember giving everybody a little scare when I didn't think I'd have enough to run the contest. Well, there are probably about 80 entries, pretty much divided up between the categories! Wow! What a blessing this has been.

Which brings me to the purpose of this post. Calamity Rene commented:

Happy New Year everyone! What was the most amazing thing that happened to you in 2013?

I did several amazing things this year and had several amazing things happen to me, but the most amazing thing of all was knowing how many people really cared about me, enough to go out of their way to bless me. That was the most amazing thing that happened to me this year. :)

I think it's a great idea to post some reflections. Let's see what you have to say. The most amazing thing for me is the blessing of meeting and fellowshiping with all my new friends over here! Because of YOU, I believe, my publisher contracted me for the new Andi series. That is the "power" of faithful fans, and I thank you very much! I hope I continue to bless you and maybe even help you reflect on life and good choice based on the Word of God through Andi's adventures.

A Blessed and Happy New Year to you all!

  1. Wow, that's a LOT of entries!
I think one of the most amazing things that happened to me this year was my grandma, aunt and cousin coming to visit from CA. They were able to stay with us for 2 weeks while my dad went up to Seattle to see a cancer specialist. It was truly a blessed and amazing time to be able to see them and get to know them better! It was also a year where God taught me to trust his timing and will in every circumstance.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

  2. Oh my! 80 entries!!!! I've grown closer to God this year by first, spending time with him and becoming a small group leader in our children's ministries at church.
Overall, 2013 has been a good year, but I think I can do even more with 2014

  5. The most amazing thing?? That's a hard one! I had a lot of amazing things happen, but I think one of the best was I got to spend a whole week in Ethiopia with my Dad and some others from our church. It was an amazing experience, and I'm not going to be forgetting it ever!
Happy New Year Everyone!! And God Bless! :)

  8. The best parts of 2013 for me are probably making more friendships and strengthening old ones, going to the WILDS Christian camp, and growing in Christ. Happy New Year

  9. Most amazing thing? I can think of three off the top of my head. My newest nephew was born in March and he's so much fun! Then one of my best friends got married in May. And in July her twin sister and I got to drive up to Canada to visit her and her husband. God provided in special ways for the wedding and for the trip.
Those are probably the high-lights of my year. :)

  10. We moved, and that WASN'T very exciting. But I know that I have some great friends I will miss.
And going to Kansas Bible Camp. It was my first time going to camp at all. And it was a BLAST from Chapel to Games to the new friendships. My counselors were amazing! It was awesome. happy new year!!!
