Paper Doll Poll

Little Andi paper dolls
Paper dolls for the younger Andi and Taffy have been quite popular (see right). Then, just the other day, a reader asked, "Are you ever going to make paper dolls for the Circle C series???" (She means for the older Andi series.) So I decided to put up a poll to see if anybody else thinks this is a good idea (or not). Check out the poll on the sidebar and let me know what you think!

p.s. I put up a sign-up box for the Circle C Adventures Ezine if you want to keep up with contest and new books and stuff like that.

    1. Yes, you may, as long as you have different names on the comment. And . .. you have to comment under the contest post. Thank you for asking, and good luck!

    1. That's a clever idea! But I would have to find an independent "judge" for the contest! :-) I'll keep that one in mind for fun . . .

    2. Guess what? The "real" Andi (the girl on the cover of the books, whose name is Jessica) IS getting married this year! I will have to get some pictures and make up a story about Andi "growing up" and getting married . . . but not to Cory. ROTFL

And to the other anonymous. So sorry you missed me (the author, Susan) at the convention. Which convention was it? Maybe I will be there again this year.

No offense.

  9. Hi Andi!!! I have an other contest idea. You can do a video contest! What I mean is that that a girl (or girls) can perform a scene from one of the Circle C (or Circle C beginnings) books! Anyway that is a thought...

  10. Mrs. Marlow, when I tried to click on the "characters" tab on the Goldtown adventures site, the front page (to the goldtown site) just popped up :/ Is there anything under that tab?

    1. Good catch! I just updated that website about an hour ago, with the new pages (like character pages). Looks like I forgot to check the link. It should be fixed now. I'm going to do a "Puzzles" page sometime too, but not quite yet. THANKS for letting me now about the problem! You fans are the greatest!
      :-)
Let me know if anything else is "amiss" okay?

    1. I don't know. I don't think so, but then it's been quite awhile since I've watched Little House. I just found a kid on the internet who had curly hair (like Will). :-) I can't remember his name.

    2. I just watched the episode (on Little House) that had that kid in it. His name is Jason on Little House (you will find him in the 2nd Season, episode "The Talking Machine"). You can find the episode on Youtube :)

    3. Wow! You are a detective! Good work. Thanks for the info!

    4. Maybe I can get some more pictures from that episode! (The "print screen" button on the computer is an amazing tab. :-)

    5. by the way, I just changed "Will" to a boy who looks a little more "weasely." LOL But I can't publish the page until the next book comes out. But when I do, you can go see if you "like" this unknown as Will better. So no one will think it's the kid from Little House. :-)

  12. I have an idea for a contest
Maybe there could be a story contest where the person writes a short story about Andi. :)

    1. Hey, Anne, I have the contest rules all prepared and the prizes thought out ($$ prizes), the age groups who can enter, and how it all works (use any characters from the CCA and write a short story). So, you are right on.

I had planned this contest over a year ago, but then I got the contract to write the Goldtown Adventures and I didn't have time to put the contest into action!

But I plan to when things settle down. What do you think about next fall or something? I had even asked two people to be story judges for me (other authors). So you see, I've always wanted to do a writing contest. This summer "Andi" will be traveling around the country with her books and going to homeschool conventions, but next fall things may just slow down a bit! Remind me again every few months so I don't forget. I think it would be a fun contest! With real prizes for first, second, and third place. Oh, and I think some honorable mentions too.

I just have to have more spare time to organize it all into a blog post and an E-newsletter . . .
